Pokemon Games

The games that started the craze off, Pokemon Red & Blue. Way back in 1998 this game hit the shops and it was off the back of the popular Pokemon TV series, you see a youung boy starting out on his Pokemon journey.
The game is still great to play, decpite the pixelated graphics. You have to capture and train all of the 151 Pokemon that may be in caves or hiding in long grass in order to become the Pokemon Champion instead of your Rival.

This is the one true game that came of the TV programmes. Your first Pokemon is the loveable electrical mouse Pikachu, who follows you about. You can also check if it loves you or not by talking to it. Same as the first two games you still have to trade, capture and trade them in order to catch 'em all!

OMG!!! Pokemon that look a bit 3D!!! Pokemon Gold & Silver is the follow up to Red/Blue/Yellow, but that much better. The same as before, trade, capture, train all of the Pokemon that is in there. This game features real-time play for the first time and you also get to back to Kanto.

The sequal to Gold & Silver. This the Pokemon are animated and it is easier to catch one of the Legendary Dogs. As well as the animated battle sequences, some of the Pokemon locations and frequinces have changed. Anyone who have the previous games will still find this game still worth playing.

Welcome to the world of Hoenn, where you have new places to explore, new Pokemon to capture and train, two on two battles, and for the first time Pokemon Contests where you can see the true beauty of your Pokemon. For people who hated Pokemon before, might change their minds after having a go at this game. Must have for all Pokemon fans new and old alike.

Follow up to Ruby and Sapphire, Pokemon Emerald is bigger and better than the other two. After the main game and gotten the National PokeDex, you have the Battle Frontier. This place is for only the best trainers from around the come to show of their skills. Even if you have the preivous two games, you should add this one to your collection.

The first games to be out on the Nintendo DS which makes use of the duel screen. With all new Pokemon along with some old (Chansey now is wild and not to the Safari Zone in Kanto) to capture, train and trade in order to get all of 450+, yes 450+, Pokemon. The Pal Park enables you to trade Pokemon from LeafGree/FireRed and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, with the Gameboy Advance slot on the DS. And real time is back, you can go underground and explore new places as well as kicking Team Galatics butt.
